RAIN is so sorry for the loss of your beloved.
We do not know who wrote the following poem but we have used a little “artist’s license” to adapt it
to your loss. |
God saw that he was getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around him and whispered, “Come with me.”
With tearful eyes you watched him suffer and saw him fade away. Although you loved him dearly, you could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, fast moving paws at rest. God broke your heart to prove he only takes the best.
A million times you thought of him, a million times you cried. If love alone could save him, he never would have died.
In life you loved him dearly, in death you love him still. In your heart he’ll hold a special place no one else can fill.
It broke your heart to lose him, but he did not go alone, for part of you went with him the day God took him home.
