Every Dog Has a Tail!
Dakota is a young female German Shepherd. She has high energy and needs a play friend. She is currently being fostered in a home with 3 other Shepherds and she loves to play with them.
She has recovered well from her surgery. She can and will run the full circuit of her yard. To keep her safe, it will
need to be fenced yard.
Dakota loves to play catch, enjoys going for walks, and will play catch with her ball as long as she can get you to throw it. Red Kong balls are a
favorite.
She loves to be with her humans. Dakota has a funny sense of humor. We feel she is a little too interested in cats to share a home with one. Dakota's
ideal home would have a loving human and a playful dog companion.
Dakota was originally a cruelty impound dog at Animal Welfare League. She had damage to her hind quarters due to excessive crating. Dakota had an FHO
surgery on 12/25/2007. We are so thankful to the shelter for providing the surgery and giving her to us to find a new forever home.
I am interested, what are the next steps?
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Heartworm Test (if over 6 months, else on prevention), current on vaccinations (including Rabies if over 4 months),
test/treat for parasites (ie worming, flea preventative, etc.), AVID microchip.
