Shamus is from Animal Welfare League where his owner left him when they became allergic.  Sometimes people think that a lower shedding dog will be OK, but really no dogs are really "hypo-allergenic"...some can bother individuals less or more, but it can depend on the individual dog, diet and even the grooming.  Sadly, these "designer breeds" are very unpredictable, being a mutt!

Shamus' owner said he was a Maltese Pug, but we have had people say he is a Shih Tzu, others that he has Griffon in him.  Who knows?  We only know he is completely covered in urine and will need to be shaved down due to the long term staining.  Maybe that was the allergic problem?

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Heartworm Test (if over 6 months, else on prevention), current on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months) test/treat for parasites (ie worming, flea preventative, etc…), AVID microchip, leash and collar.
