Every Dog Has a Tail!

Porchse is new from DuPage County Animal Control where she was taken as a stray.  She was a bit too shy to stay at the shelter, so they asked for a rescue to help.  Porsche is a love bug, just a bit overwhelmed from her adventures  

We have found Porsche to be a runner, she dashed into her foster yard, hit the fence, dug faster than a cartoon character and bolted.  She did not go far and ended up next door visiting the neighbor's poodle, but this adds concerns to any interested adopter.  We would recommend working on the behavior, teaching a good recall and being patience with Porsche, while all the time leash walking her.

Porsche is a talker, she has that Dachshund love of her own voice.  She also is very, very playful with smaller dogs.  She has been a great friend to the other dogs in her foster home and has been very good with the cats so far.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Heartworm Test (if over 6 months, else on prevention), current on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months) test/treat for parasites (ie worming, flea preventative, etc…), AVID microchip, leash and collar.
