Nattie is from DuPage County Animal Control where her owners left her because their last child was allergic. Since she lived with more than one child and probably younger ones, she is fairly "bomb-proof", in other words, nothing much bothers her. However, she also seems unused to attention, not asking for it, just amusing herself. When given attention, she soaks it up like a sponge. Natasha is older, all black and because she isn't up there pushing for affection, she is easily overlooked. That is probably why she sat in the adoption room at the shelter since the 4th of July.
