Maynard is from Animal Welfare League.  His owner left him there with the reason "tries to go outside".  We think there is more to the story, perhaps they didn't count on how much work a Persian cat can be?

Maynard was filthy and matted, he had to be shaved by the shelter so that he could move and use the bathroom.  He is all 4 declawed, why?  Persians rarely ever use their claws.  Finally, he has a really bad parasite infection called Coccidia which makes him very uncomfortable.  Wouldn't you want to run away?

This kitty is part of our SOS Program (Save our Seniors).  People will send in sponsorships or donations and ask us to help special cats in need, so kitty was selected for the program and the adoption fee is reduced by the donations from $150.00 to $100.00.
