Marla is from Animal Welfare League.  She had been there since November and had not made it up for adoption.  The staff had been caring for her upper respiratory infection and she had been expressing her thanks by being loving and friendly.

We were so impressed by Marla's personality and unusual striking looks, that we just could not pass on trying to find her a new home.

Marla has spent some time in a foster home and is really blossoming.  She still dislikes the dogs, but is comfortable enough to hiss at them and go on her way.  She did great with the other cats, but really is more oriented to the humans in the family.  She has a strong play streak, particularly about feather toys and strings.

 Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Feline Leukemia Test, Feline Immunodeficiency Test (if over 6 months), Front Declaw (if already done), current on vaccinations (including Rabies if over 4 months), test/treat for parasites (ie worming, flea preventative, etc…) and AVID microchip.
