Every Dog Has a Tail!

Layla is from Animal Welfare League.  She was a stray that was so covered in fleas, she had barely any hair left and her body was being eaten alive.  She needed to be on medication to restore her system and recover from the bad Kennel Cough.  She also had a really bad infection that required several weeks of antibiotics and TLC, not that she minded.

We are happy to say that Layla is was well enough to be spayed and is finally more like the terrier that we wanted to see!  She has been extremely good about her crate as long as she gets out for potty breaks.  She is used to wearing a sweater out in the cold and at first because of her cold, she was paper trained.

Layla gets a bit terrier over her food or really valuable toys like raw hides, so we make sure she has those things in her crate so she does not have to share.  She loves laps and being carried, loves giving kisses and rolling on her back for belly rubs.
