JR is from Animal Welfare League where he was taken when his owner became ill and could no longer care for him. JR (any Dallas TV Show fans out there???) has been neglected for a while, he has being neutered and got a much needed dental (can you imagine he still had baby teeth that should have been removed?)! JR or "Pepe" as his temporary mom calls him, is doing wonderful! At first, he would not sit by anyone, but wandered off to be alone. When the other poodles would bark, he would retreat. But this last week, he is a new little man. He eagerly joined into the barking to welcome mom home, hid under her bed when she was trying to go to work to try to steal a bit more time from her and snuggles into a lap whenever he can! Pepe has been wonderful in his crate, even earned a bed outside of the crate for night time. He lives with other dogs and seems uninterested in cats. Just a fabulous little guy and adorable!
