Every Dog Has a Tail!

Heidi is a long haired Dachshund and Spike is her smooth coated brother.  They were loved and well cared for by their owner until death in October 2007.  The 2 were too old for anyone coming to the animal control to place.  Lucky for them, the owner's son-in-law intervened and got them to RAIN.

They both were updated on all their shots, groomed and put on a diet and exercise program that brought them into wonderful shape and made them into Doxies again! These guys are nice dogs and really need a home together, they are so devoted to each other!

Heidi is quite, loving and the lap sitter.  She also loves her "blankie" and sleeps faithfully on it wherever it is.  Spike loves to play.  He seeks out affection and attention, chews on his hooves, bones and greenies.  Spike loves his "blankie" also, but sleeps UNDER it!

The 2 walk nicely on leads together, share a crate at home and really complete each other.  Heidi looks old from her white face, but that is just her color.  Both have young and faithful hearts...do you?

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Heartworm Test (if over 6 months, else on prevention), current on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months) test/treat for parasites (ie worming, flea preventative, etc…), AVID microchip, leash and collar.
