Every Dog Has a Tail!

Hailly comes from Kane County Animal Control, where she had been for a while.  She had a case of "happy tail", that is an injury to the end of the tail from the constant wagging and banging into the walls/cage.  She is fine now and has learned to wag a bit more gently!

Hailly is learning quickly to play with other dogs, she can be a bit bossy with them, this is a new thing for her, to have friends!  But humans are Hailly's big love, she wants attention and affection, she thinks she is a lap dog to be loved on and carried around.

Hailly keeps a clean crate, but she has to go outside as soon as her foster mom gets home, she gets excited and wants to do what hounds do...sniff, run the property and bay!  Hailly has a beautiful voice and she likes to use it.  At home, she walk wonderfully on a leash and settles down nicely in the home.  But at PetSmart during the adoption events, she is just so distracted and excited that she "sings".

Hailly is not good with cats, she is a hunter and thinks they are game.  If cats are not available birds, bunnies, squirrels and other critters will do nicely to bay at and hunt.  So no small furry things for this girl!
