Dakota comes from Animal Welfare League.  She had been a cruelty impound due to excessive crating which led to damage to her hind quarters.  

Dakota had an FHO surgery on one hip on 12/25/2007, definitely not how ANY puppy should spend their holiday.  But we cannot thank the shelter enough for rescuing from her cage, providing the surgery and giving her to us to find her a new home.

Dakota is undergoing therapy to build, stretch and strengthen her muscles and tendons.  She is not yet ready for adoption, but she needs your help.  If you can, we would appreciate donations to cover her medical expenses and care.  Please keep Dakota in your thoughts and if you like, you can visit her at our adoption events and wish her well!

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Heartworm Test (if over 6 months, else on prevention), current on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months) test/treat for parasites (ie worming, flea preventative, etc…), AVID microchip, leash and collar.
