Every Dog Has a Tail!

Comet is from The Humane Society of Fulton County, they brought her up to us to give her a chance at a new life.

Comet is an athlete and is very focused on playing with the other dogs.  She can be a bit tough on the gentle players, but the boys really seem to enjoy her.  She is really sweet with people when you can get her to focus on them.  At first, we wondered why she seemed uninterested, then slowly, she began to become more affectionate.  Sometimes dogs get used to not expecting any love or attention from their owners, they are no longer puppies and they are ignored or even abandoned outside.  This was probably Comet's fate, she had to make her own fun.

Comet has learned to give kisses, she does it just right... not too many and not too few!  She has the cutest expression and a little docked tail.  She would do best in a securely fenced yard with a play buddy to romp around with.

We ran a test on Comet that can determine from her genes what her heritage is.  We were a bit amazed by the results as our little girl has Chow, Flatcoated Retriever and a splash of Sheltie in her!
