My name used to be Horus

But I am now called "Willie"

Was he a stray at Animal Welfare League or was his owner just embarrassed?  We'll never know - but he was meant for better things and found them with his family!

Horus is doing great. We renamed him Willie after Willie Nelson. The first picture was taken the second day he was here, and already he and Shadow were getting along. They now sleep in the same chair, particularly when it's cool. The second picture shows him with our granddaughter. He's great with kids and loves to be loved. Shadow hides when she comes over, which is probably for the better, since she's not as tolerant of babies.

Willie is the most affectionate cat we have ever had. Loves head butting and sitting on your lap. He also loves to walk on the keyboard when I'm at the computer. He has already learned how to create charts in Excel, so he's quite talented. He is having some problems with skin alergies, where he licks himself raw. We have some cream, but when one spot clears up, he finds another. Vet just says keep on trying.

The two cats are otherwise doing fine. They play together quite a lot. Shadow is definitely the "ruler," but Willie is happy following her around. He gets his revenge when she is sleeping, he attacks.
