| Hi, Thought
you might like an update on Girl (still seeking a proper name!).
She's been busy! What
a character! She's
been eating heartily and having a general blast.
Yesterday we were outside all day mowing and working in the yard
(at my place a several hour project) --she was chasing birds and
butterflies...carrying sticks around and trying to eat bugs and
weeds...just loving the open fields and pastures, and following the mower
around --by the end of the day she was a wonderfully worn out critter.
She desperately wanted to stay awake last night and just couldn't
keep her eyes open any longer...it was pretty amusing.
She's sleeping well in her crate...we've regressed a bit I think on
the housetraining partly due to the diarrhea, but that should improve with
a little routine I'm sure. I
have only one neighbor, so she met their Golden Retriever and their
potbelly pig--that was a new adventure for her.
She adores riding in the truck--just lays down in the seat and
curls up for a nap...and of course, no matter what is going on, she is in
the middle of it TOTALLY. We are starting obedience school tomorrow night. So,
that's the update for you from your furry foster kid...she sends her love!
Hopefully we'll see you again--one of my next weekends off work
I'll come out to help. Talk
to you later, Angie

Hope you all had a great holiday! Just a quick picture of ACD "Girl" we adopted in Spring of 2001. She's doing great and full of mischief as always. She's the one on the left with her "Brothers" Derby and Tanner! (also rescues from Kentucky) Best wishes to all for 2003 and keep up the great work! Angie, Rain, Derby and Tanner |
